A fast and furious weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma where Enlyten and Lynn Mitchel announced the new Enlyten Pro system and the updated compensation for Product Promoters and Business Promoters. Both Friday and Saturday were filled with news and updates. The new financial forecaster, that is posted on the Enlyten website, was a big hit. It gives you the quick and easy math for how much you can make if 3 things are answered. 1. What is the average amount of product sold. 2. How many people will you enroll and 3. How many will they enroll. At that point it calculates a 5 level, with a bonus on the 5 level, commission that you could possibly make. This is extremely powerful because people want to know how much they can make and how to do it. This will be a great tool to use for presentations. Show someone the product and then the calculator. Pretty simple.

Another big surprise was the new backoffice. Enlyten calls it a “business center” and they should because it is awesome. This system does everything except talk to people for you. You will be amazed at how you can mange your business, market your business and communicate with your team. It is only a tool and tools are only as good as the users so make sure you learn and use the power of Enlyten’s new business center.

The last major announcement discussed this weekend was the bonus upgrade’s to the the existing compensation plan. Without going into a ton of detail, I will tell you that a new business promoter will have an opportunity to start their business off the right way with the Enlyten business promoter welcome kit and make more money in the first 30 days than ever before with Enlyten.

I am excited about the future of Enlyten and the upgrades made by the company. The product has and will continue to be awesome, now all the other pieces are in place so do not hesitate. Take action today.

The new back office will be up and running by Tuesday June 15th so make sure you check out all the new updates and any of the new guidelines applicable to the product promoters and business promoters.

I am pumped.

Sleep is a strange thing. Your body has to sleep but so many things make it difficult to do so. Stress, bad mattress, to much light (TV), kids…..you name it. I had a difficult time sleeping and I have tried numerous OTC and prescription products so when the melatonin sleep strip made it into my mouth and changed my sleeping patterns and my wife’s sleeping patterns I was sold. I couldn’t figure out why it was so much better than other things I have tried, other than the fact that I had to take them laying down because they worked so fast. So I did a little research and I found that the ingredient I love so much is the theanine. So here is some info from WebMD on my favorite enlyten strip.

Sleep Aid Information

What is Theanine?

When your mother told you to have a cup of tea and relax, what she meant was to have a cup of Theanine. Theanine, one of Nature’s own stress remedies, reduces stress and relieves anxiety. This herbal product is now available as a nutritional supplement.

Theanine (chemical name: r-glutamylethylamide) is one of the chemicals found in green tea, and is used to reduce stress and anxiety without the tranquilizing effects found in many other calming agents. Scientific evidence shows that Theanine stimulates the brain’s production of alpha waves, making the user feel relaxed but alert and not drowsy. Theanine also helps the body produce other calming amino acids, such as dopamine, GABA, and tryptophan. As might be expected from a calming supplement,.

This natural supplement comes from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. These leaves may be used to make an extract or brewed as a tea. Theanine is one of the major components of amino acids in Japanese green tea. In Japan, Theanine is added to chewing gum and soft drinks to provide a soothing, relaxing effect without making you drowsy or groggy like other relaxants.

Holistic health practitioners and herbalists have known for centuries that Camellia provides a relaxing and calming tea. Western scientists are only beginning to study the effects of Theanine and the benefits that this natural substance may hold.

Benefits of Theanine

The primary use for Theanine is to reduce stress and anxiety. Reports from people who have used Theanine and the doctors who have studied its effects in their patients suggests that Theanine is effective as a treatment for:

The relaxing nature of Theanine A recent study found that the overwhelming majority of visits to the doctor’s office were related in some way to stress or anxiety. Blood pressure, immune response, heart disease, and cancer have all been connected to stress, either as a cause or as a contributing factor. We can lower the body’s stress levels by learning to relax and using proper nutrition. Part of that nutrition may include Theanine, a main ingredient of tea. The stress-reducing properties of Theanine can help alleviate most conditions in which stress is a major factor.

How Theanine Works?

Theanine enters the brain by passing through blood-brain barrier. Once it is in the brain, Theanine causes significant increases in serotonin and/or dopamine concentrations in the brain, especially in striatum, hypothalamus, and hippocampus. Serotonin and dopamine are often referred to as the brain’s “feel good chemicals.” The body naturally produces more of these chemicals when we are happy or feeling good. When serotonin and dopamine concentrations are increased, the individual feels more relaxed and calmer.

Theanine Dosage

Theanine is a nutritional supplement, not a medication. There are no established doses for this product.

What is melatonin?

Melatonin is a hormone produced in the pineal gland, a small gland in the brain, that helps regulate sleep and wake cycles. Very small amounts of melatonin are found in foods such as meats, grains, fruits, and vegetables. It is also available as a dietary supplement, though it has no known nutritional value.

Your body has its own internal clock that helps regulate your natural cycle of sleeping and waking hours (or circadian rhythm) in part by controlling the production of melatonin. Normally, melatonin levels begin to rise in the mid- to late evening, remain high for most of the night, and then decline in the early morning hours. Natural melatonin production is partly affected by light

Natural melatonin levels decline gradually with age. Some older adults produce very small amounts of melatonin or none at all.

Melatonin Dosage

In adults, melatonin is taken in different dosages from 0.2 to 20.0 mg, depending on the reason for using the supplement. The recommended dose is typically 0.5 mg. The appropriate dosage of melatonin varies widely from one person to another. If you have difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep, your health professional can help determine the proper dosage and whether melatonin is right for you.

Residual income or mailbox money, as some people like to refer to it, is something that I have always looked to attain. It is the concept of having your money and time work for you as opposed to always working for your money. I started an insurance agency years ago and it was hard. I invested a lot of time and money into the business. Now I am benefiting from those efforts with the residual income I am receiving now. I do not work nearly as hard and I could go on vacation for a year and still get paid. Now, I do not do that because I am a work workaholic but it is nice to know that I could. Let me give you some other examples: Oil and gas business, real estate properties and yes network marketing. There are others but the important thing to consider is to understand residual income and what businesses deliver that option. That is one of the reasons we love network marketing and its not just me, Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad is also a big advocate of network marketing and residual income. Here are a few benefits:

Also called passive income. Income generated after your initial effort.

The best residual incomes are the ones you have Exclusive rights to

You get paid more than ‘One time” for your efforts unlike salary or commission.

Stable and Consistent.

Can take some time to develop but the REWARDS are greater.

You do not have to acquire new customers every month to get paid.

Regardless whether you do enlyten or not, do something that generates residual income because it will change your life.

Do you have people ask you “is this a pyramid thing?” If haven’t then you will soon enough. Their are a few ways to respond but before you do it is important that you believe, that it is not a scam. You can give a great response but if you are not doing it with confidence and conviction, it won’t make a difference. So do you believe? Do you believe in the product? Do you believe in the business model? Do you believe in yourself? If you don’t then please go do something else because this business will be a waste of your time. If do believe, start acting like it and educate yourself on ways to overcome these types of objections and statistical information that supports your belief. If NWM is such a scam why are so many people doing it? Why has it been around for so long? Why are so many people making money doing it? Below are some stats and a source for you to visit to gain more knowledge about this business that you are in.

Direct Selling/Multi Level Marketing Stats

The purpose of this guide is to help you understand what accounts for a good conference call/webinar and to give you specific tips for how to make your conference calls/webinars an effective use of your time.

Keep things quiet – Use a quiet area and turn off call-waiting or mobile phone so these tones won’t interrupt.

Introduce yourself.

Put one person in charge.

Ask for all phones to be muted.

If you plan on answering questions, ask for them to be held until the end. With a webinar, guests can type their questions during the call and you can answer them at the end of the webinar.

Keep the conference call/webinar at under an hour.

Practice, practice and practice. Practice setting up and executing with a few people and practice what you are going to say as well.

Conference calls and webinars have high value, low cost and are quick and easy to set-up. Use them for Enlyten opportunity presentations, brainstorming sessions with out of state ID’s and for training with your team.

Here are a couple resources:

Freeconferencecall.com

Gotomeeting.com

Please remember to speak clearly and with confidence. Having passion about your product, the business and the reason you are doing it, is the most important thing you can do.

How do the strips really work. I mean the primary factor is that they actually work. Your body recognizes the difference. You can feel the effects. Regardless of what someone tells you or scientific facts, at the the end of the day what matters is the fact that “IT Works” To get a better handle on questions that you might receive, I have included some terms from Web MD to explain the areas where the strips are placed and pass through 1. Digestive Tract 2. Buccal Mucosa 3. Sublingual

Digestive Tract

Obviously the strips are digested through the digestive tract as well. They go through the normal process of digestion just like any other liquid or solid we put into our body. One part of that process is the first-pass effect.

The first-pass effect (also known as first-pass metabolism or presystemic metabolism) is a phenomenon of chemical metabolism whereby the concentration of a chemical is greatly reduced before it reaches the systemic circulation.

After a chemical is swallowed, it is absorbed by the digestive system and enters the hepatic portal system. It is carried through the portal vein into the liver before it reaches the rest of the body. The liver metabolizes many drugs, sometimes to such an extent that only a small amount of active drug emerges from the liver to the rest of the circulatory system. This first pass through the liver thus greatly reduces the bioavailability of the drug. Alternative routes of administration like suppository[dubious – discuss], intravenous, intramuscular, and sublingual avoid the first-pass effect because they allow drugs to be absorbed directly into the systemic circulation.

The four primary systems that affect the first pass effect of a drug are the enzymes of the gastrointestinal lumen, gut wall enzymes, bacterial enzymes, and hepatic enzymes. Source Web MD

Buccal mucosa

is mucous membrane of the inside of the cheek. It is non-keratinised and is continuous with the mucosae of the soft palate, under surface of tongue and the floor of the mouth. Source Web MD

Sublingual

Sublingual, literally ‘under the tongue’, from Latin, refers to the pharmacological route of administration by which drugs diffuse into the blood through tissues under the tongue. Many pharmaceuticals are designed for sublingual administration, including cardiovascular drugs, steroids, barbiturates, enzymes, and increasingly, vitamins and minerals.

The principle behind sublingual administration is simple. When a chemical comes in contact with the mucous membrane beneath the tongue, or buccal mucosa, it diffuses through it. Because the connective tissue beneath the epithelium contains a profusion of capillaries, the substance then diffuses into them and enters the venous circulation. In contrast, substances absorbed in the intestines are subject to “first pass metabolism” in the liver before entering the general circulation.

Sublingual administration has certain advantages over oral administration. Being more direct, it is often faster, and it ensures that the substance will risk degradation only by salivary enzymes before entering the bloodstream, whereas orally administered drugs must survive passage through the hostile environment of the gastrointestinal tract, which risks degrading them, either by stomach acid or bile, or by the many enzymes therein, such as monoamine oxidase (MAO). Furthermore, after absorption from the gastrointestinal tract, such drugs must pass to the liver, where they may be extensively altered; this is known as the first pass effect of drug metabolism. Due to the digestive activity of the stomach and intestines and the solubility of the GI tract, the oral route is unsuitable for certain substances, such as salvinorin A. Source Web MD

I always try to eat healthy but I was able to not overeat. Along with great products there is an opportunity for anyone to become a promoter and increase your weekly income.

Lots of times when trying to present a business opportunity we can let ourselves be the biggest problem in letting the true message get to your audience. People do this by letting their own perceptions and biases’ take over the presentation rather than letting the facts and actual information stand on its own. Presenters also often stray to far from the original topic and can confuse their audience. Also they do not listen to their audience when they can be your biggest help.

When the audience feels this way you are going to lose them and their concentration. If their focus is lost, so is your edge in getting them interested in becoming part of your business. Losing the audience often leads to what they call secondary conversations, these are what people think about while listening to you rather than listening to you. It is important to be able to read your audience whether it is one person or a room full. If you can do this you could recover from a near disaster. If a person or group becomes disengaged you can tell by posture, facial expressions, and other body language you can take action to bring them back in. Ask questions, this forces interaction. Ask for a show of hands to a common question. Single out a certain person interact with and contribute to the presentation. All of these things can help get their thoughts back on you and your information rather than what they were thinking about you.

When presenting it is best to keep things as simple as possible, stay with your key points and listen to your audience. Your audience can often lead you to what they want to hear if you let them. Do not assume you know what everyone wants to hear. Your own perception can kill you. Everyone comes at things from different angles and interprets things differently, so it is important to address their questions and ask them if your answer helped. This keeps them involved in the process of buying into your business.

In the end you need to be able to sell your self and if you let yourself get in the way of that it will not matter if you have the greatest product, company, or opportunity to share with them you will not have a chance.

Enlyten is now helping you do more than just prevent cramping and dehydration with its strip technology. Enlyten is also helping tennis families battle the expenses of being a tennis parent. How you ask? Well, Enlyten products are based in a consumer to consumer business, so what tennis parents are doing is joining Enlyten as an independent distributor and sponsoring their child or children through their business, than they can write off things like travel and training expenses. The write offs alone can save a tennis family hundreds if not thousands come tax time. At the same time when they are traveling with their kids and talking to parents of other tennis players they are promoting their business and growing their network and creating another stream of revenue for the family. So, just by using a great product like Enlyten they are not only helping their kids perform to the best of their ability, but letting their family prosper through something that was once only their children’s favorite game. For more information on Enlyten strips and the Enlyten opportunity go to www.enlytenflorida.com and us e PROMO code TEAMWGE for a 10-20% discount.
