Residual income or mailbox money, as some people like to refer to it, is something that I have always looked to attain. It is the concept of having your money and time work for you as opposed to always working for your money. I started an insurance agency years ago and it was hard. I invested a lot of time and money into the business. Now I am benefiting from those efforts with the residual income I am receiving now. I do not work nearly as hard and I could go on vacation for a year and still get paid. Now, I do not do that because I am a work workaholic but it is nice to know that I could. Let me give you some other examples: Oil and gas business, real estate properties and yes network marketing. There are others but the important thing to consider is to understand residual income and what businesses deliver that option.
